I found an Japanese hanging scroll of two women in kimono from edo period in National Museum of Asian Art Collection and used it similar reference, to build a custom Recraft Style. The old painting style has never drawn a wet floor, a subway platform, or an e-scooter, so I used it to draw Notices from Moros, a poster series for a fictional city of beastfolk. The people of Moros have modern technology but keep their animal instincts, so they slip, nap, run, and sneak around, and the city’s Public Safety Bureau answers with warning posters. The fox is the recurring star, joined by crows, cats, rabbits, raccoons, and deer.
