Before Rive released GPU Canvas, I built this interactive real estate proof of concept without using a 3D model. The building may look 3D, but it is actually a PNG sequence. I wrote a custom script that allows users to rotate it by dragging. For the property cards, I used data binding and a data table to create multiple instances from the same design, each displaying different property information. Now that GPU Canvas is available, I definitely want to revisit this idea using a real 3D model. Of course, a real world version would go much further. Users could select a floor, see how many apartments are available, choose a specific unit, and view exactly where it is located within the 3D building. But that was not the goal of this experiment. I simply wanted to test an idea, learn new skills, and then move on to the next challenge. Sometimes a personal project does not need to become a finished product to be valuable.
