I just built a Chrome plugin: a grid maker for the web. The idea was inspired by (grids.obys.agency), where they have a toggle to show and hide the grid on their website. I loved that concept and decided to recreate it as a Chrome extension so you can display a grid overlay on any webpage you’re browsing. Built with the help of Claude Code. It’s a simple tool but useful for designers who want to quickly inspect layout structure, spacing, and alignment while browsing.
