Designed an end-to-end digital atelier and workflow system for Revive Leather Lab — crafted to protect a solo leather restorer's workbench focus while elevating the client experience into true quiet luxury.
Have you ever experienced how overwhelming it is to run a business entirely on your own? For an independent master artisan like Marcus in South Yarra, handling high-end archival leather demands extreme focus and precision, yet his days were constantly interrupted by repetitive inquiries about pricing, services, and turnaround times. Because an artisan's hands are tied to the workbench, delays in replying often left clients waiting and led to lost business opportunities.
Revive Leather Lab was built not as an ordinary e-commerce store, but as a dedicated digital gatekeeper and operational assistant engineered to cut through all of that manual busywork.
Before booking, clients can discover Marcus’s background, philosophy, and artisanal credentials through an editorial profile space, building immediate trust. Instead of back-and-forth messaging, the intuitive self-serve intake allows clients to specify their piece, see live pricing and turnaround estimates, upload damage photos, and lock in a weekly drop-off slot backed by a commitment deposit and digital intake slip.
On the artisan’s side, the platform strips away administrative chaos. Marcus manages active pieces through a disciplined sequential workbench where actions unlock only as the physical restoration progresses. He can dispatch automated drying-time reminders or lead-time extensions directly to the client with a single click, settle and adjust final balances upon in-studio pickup, and instantly print updated receipts at the counter without breaking his flow, all while past records remain searchable in the studio archive.
The goal was simple: ensure clients never have to wait for clear answers, while letting a solo craftsman protect his bench time without losing valuable clients.
Designed for Revive Leather Lab, South Yarra, Melbourne.
