🔥 Firebase is great — until you use it for the wrong job. For many React Native MVPs, Firebase is perfect: • authentication • push notifications • analytics • crash reporting • real-time updates • quick backend setup But I usually avoid forcing everything into Firebase when the product needs: • complex business logic • heavy reporting • advanced permissions • complex relational data • high-volume background processing • strict backend control In those cases, I often keep Firebase for mobile infrastructure and move core business logic to Node.js + PostgreSQL. The goal isn’t to pick one stack and defend it. The goal is to use each tool where it makes the product simpler, faster, and easier to scale. 🚀
