In AI, the middle layer, the neural network is where everything happens. It’s where the system processes information, finds patterns, learns from context, and transforms inputs into meaningful outputs.
As designers, we play a similar role. We stand between what users say (input) and what they experience (output). Our job is to connect the dots, to interpret behaviors, filter insights, and design outcomes that make sense to real people.
Just like neural networks, we improve by learning, through feedback, iteration, and empathy.
In both AI and design, intelligence isn’t just in the data; it’s in how we understand and transform it.
