Ingredient X-ray: Product Ad Template
Second entry · SVGator x Contra Template Challenge
What it is
An animated product ad for social feeds (1080×1350, 8.4-second loop). Your product goes through an x-ray scanner, three key facts appear, and it’s revealed with a buy button.
Best for
Skincare and beauty, supplements, food and drink, pet care, cleaning products: any brand with an ingredient, material or spec worth showing.
Who it’s for
DTC brands, social media managers, agencies and freelancers who need a scroll-stopping product ad without animating from scratch.
What you change
Product photo: one transparent, cropped PNG, swapped in a single layer. It auto-fits and sits on the belt. You can also paste vector artwork into the product group.
Logo
Headline, three facts, product name and button text
Backdrop, floor and button colours (optional: x-ray tint colour)
What stays automatic
The x-ray view (built from your one photo), belt motion, motion blur, product shadows, studio lighting and depth, the scan, the reveal and the seamless loop.
Proof
Shown with three brands: a vitamin C serum, a white cream jar and a soda can. Same animation, one photo swapped each time.
Built with the SVGator MCP through Claude. All artwork is original. Fonts are Inter and JetBrains Mono, and the demo logo lettering is converted to outlines.
My approach to brand design starts with a clear visual direction. I focus on color, typography, spacing, and consistency, then use motion to make that identity feel alive.
For this independent iPhone concept, I worked with Apple’s existing visual language: clean layouts, bold typography, dark backgrounds, and warm orange accents.
Here’s how I built the video:
• Planned a sequence of camera close-ups, side details, product reveals, and color options.
• Combined official Apple product images and footage with custom layouts and animated typography.
• Refined the timing and transitions to keep the movement smooth and the text readable.
• Matched the edit to the soundtrack for a more cohesive viewing experience.
The process used an AI-assisted design and editing workflow, with revisions focused on product realism, composition, and pacing.
Final format: 24 seconds · 5:4 · 60 fps
My goal was to make the product the focus while keeping every visual element connected.
