For the @Lovable booking challenge, I built AlbaSmile Booking OS.
AlbaSmile is a fictional boutique dental clinic in Prishtina, Kosovo dealing with a very real problem:
Patients want to book quickly, while clinic staff lose time checking schedules, confirming appointments, handling reschedules, chasing no-shows, and trying to refill cancellations.
The problem I solved:
Turn “Can I book?” into “You’re booked” with as little manual work from the clinic as possible.
I approached both sides of the brief.
Fix the front door
A patient can:
• choose the treatment they need
• get matched with an eligible dentist
• see real available appointment times
• book a slot directly
• receive an appointment pass
• confirm attendance
• reschedule
• cancel
• add the appointment to their calendar
No receptionist back-and-forth is required for the normal booking flow.
Fix the follow-through
On the clinic side, AlbaSmile provides:
• a live booking calendar
• inbound inquiry tracking
• appointment status management
• persisted reminder and follow-up jobs
• cancellation handling
• waitlist management
• time-limited waitlist offers
• operational visibility through one command center
The part I focused on most was cancellations.
Instead of a cancelled appointment simply becoming an empty chair, AlbaSmile can reopen that time, identify an eligible waitlist patient, create an offer, and let that patient claim the appointment.
I also turned the operational workflow into part of the visual experience.
The 3D AlbaSmile system represents what is happening behind the interface:
A booking locks into the system.
A cancellation creates a visible gap.
A waitlist patient moves through the system and fills it.
The goal was not to build another beautiful appointment form.
The goal was to build a believable booking operating system that reduces the amount of coordination a small clinic has to handle manually.
Built end-to-end in Lovable using React, TanStack Start, Supabase, Three.js / React Three Fiber, GSAP, and a persisted booking + waitlist architecture.
External messaging is simulated in the challenge build, while booking, availability, appointment management, operational state, and waitlist recovery are connected to the real application data.
AlbaSmile
A booking operating system for a boutique dental clinic in Prishtina, built to reduce the manual work between patient inquiry and confirmed appointment.
I built MobiFix Nairobi : A Mobile auto care company.
I rebuilt the moment an inbound “Can I book with you?” becomes “You’re booked.”
MobiFix Nairobi is a fictional mobile automotive service business built around one simple problem: booking vehicle services often means back-and-forth messages, checking availability, coordinating technicians, confirming locations, and handling payments manually.
I designed the experience so the customer can:
→ Choose a service
→ Select their vehicle
→ Enter their location
→ Pick an available date and time
→ Add their details
→ Review the booking
→ Complete payment
→ Receive a booking confirmation and code
Behind the scenes, the business gets a real dashboard with bookings, calendar, customers, services, technicians, availability, analytics, and website management — all backed by real data.
The goal was to make the entire journey feel less like “requesting an appointment” and more like simply getting booked.
For the #lovablechallenge
Introducing EVERMORE a bridal boutique on King Street, Charleston 💍
A little bit backstory
I don't normally do this and if this challenge I hadn't seen yesterday, I don't think I would never have tried the new #Lovable to be honest. I normally use other cli tools in my day to day work, but this is the first time I was having this much fun while building a project.
What you're looking at is everything I managed to do in one night before the tokens ran out ( got down to ~5 credits from 200 something).
Let's come down to point. The submission is based on an actual client .(The name and location etc is fictional , but her problems are not )
So Juliette runs EVERMORE, with Tess styling on weekends only.
Two fitting rooms: the Grand Salon (bride + 5) and the Boudoir (bride + 2). Visits are 45, 60 or 90 minutes, and every room needs a 15-minute reset.
Saturdays fill first. She's with a bride all day, so every "Can I book?" DM waited until 11pm.
With our help , what is happening now is
- Brides are booking based on the availability themselves , without waiting for reply in dm.
- Getting Instant confirmation with a private link to confirm. They have the options for later cancel their appointment as well if they change their mind or due to any emergency. No questions asked and without disturbing any one else as well.
- To remember they can put it in calendar as well
- While booking their preference like how they want to look, styles, budget, comfort notes etc, also can be added directly so that boutique owner can prepare for her visit and make everything in her capacity to make the bride to be comfortable
- Based on the preferences of bride , A Salon Screen was ready for her and her only to showcase the type of dress she want in detail and talk about it in person while trying them out, the screen can be managed by the studio owner and could be put on any display like tv or laptop or monitor .
- It first greets the bride with personal message and also let her capture the screen and share it in here social, giving a viral factor in social media with tags
- The same screen also lets studio owner to note down the preference of the bride more clearly after having met in person
→ Once the meeting is done, both the client and studio owner will have different place to go back and do things like note down the next steps, result of the meeting , the feedback from the client , basically the whole formality whatever happens
Juliette's new evening plan, literally anything except answering DMs.
