Tamer Sharkas Beauty Center — Luxury Editorial Website
A bilingual, CMS-powered luxury brand experience designed, engineered, and launched solo.
Tamer Sharkas is a premium Cairo-based beauty center. The brief was clear: build something that feels like a luxury editorial magazine, not a typical salon website. I took that vision and turned it into a fully operational digital platform from the first design decision to the last deployment fix.
I designed the entire "Cairo Luxury Editorial" aesthetic myself, then built it on Next.js 15 with Payload CMS as the content backbone and Supabase as the database layer. The client can manage products, services, and offers independently no developer needed. The site runs fully bilingual in Arabic and English, with proper RTL support throughout.
Under the hood, I solved real infrastructure challenges connection pooling configuration on Supabase, foreign key constraint handling, and making sure the CMS and database stayed in sync across environments. This wasn't just a pretty website. It was a production system.
