KeyDash is a web-based typing game built for the Config Makeathon using Figma Make.
The idea came from a simple problem: typing practice is useful, but it can feel repetitive and not very motivating. I wanted to explore how a clean typing-test interface could be combined with a playful game mechanic.
In KeyDash, players type random English words while a pixel-art runner tries to stay ahead of a human chaser. Every correct word increases the lead, while mistakes and slow typing make the chaser get closer.
Players can choose difficulty, time duration, character, and map before starting a run. During gameplay, KeyDash tracks WPM, accuracy, time, correct words, combo, and lead distance. At the end, players get a result screen with their final WPM as the main score, plus supporting stats and shareable results.
I used Figma Make to design and build the working prototype, iterating through the interface, gameplay logic, result screen, and visual style directly from prompts and refinements.

6 months of building BrainTrip solo. Here are the real numbers.
43,000 lines of code. 166 source files. 31 screens. 76 custom components. 22 custom hooks. 5 app versions shipped. All solo.
When you build alone, you wear every hat — developer, designer, marketer, QA, customer support, copywriter. There's no one to hand things off to.
Yesterday I shipped v1.5 — a full performance overhaul. I traced every button tap to find what was causing delay. Parallelized async calls. Built a remote feature flag system so I can kill a broken feature without waiting on an App Store review.
None of that came from a course. It came from users saying "this feels slow" and me refusing to leave it that way.
BrainTrip turns travel into a game — city trivia, AI itineraries, passport stamps, and multiplayer showdowns. Built with React Native, Supabase, and Claude AI.
The app isn't where I want it yet. But progress > perfection. Every time.
This is a fun challenge! For the Ministry of Testing's Test Bash 2022 online conference, QA engineers were invited to share a video recap of answering the call to a specific test challenge. My result video was the only one featured during the conference. :)
