Never Miss Another Renewal: Lapses Tracks Everything That Expires
Passports, licences, insurance, and subscriptions all expire, and nothing warns you until it's too late.
THE BEFORE Every important date I own lives somewhere different. My passport expiry is in a drawer. My car insurance is in an email I'll never search for. My subscriptions renew on cards I forgot I'd added. Teams have it worse: no one person knows every tool, domain, and contract the company is paying for. Today it's notes apps, spreadsheets, and calendar reminders that say "renew something??", and every one of them depends on you remembering to look.
THE AFTER Lapses is one place for everything that expires. I designed the brand and all 28 screens before writing a single prompt: a countdown-ring logo, Manrope and Geist Mono, and one rule for colour. Orange means something needs you, and a three-step status system (safe, coming up, urgent) tells you how much. Then I built it on Base44, checking every screen against the designs and pushing back when the build drifted. Mobile and desktop are designed separately, not one layout squeezed onto a phone.
THE AUTOMATION * Snap or upload a document. Lapses reads the type and expiry date, you confirm, and it lands on your timeline. * One timeline, soonest first, with reminders timed to each item: months ahead for a passport, days ahead for a subscription. * A renewal checklist for every item, so you're never starting from scratch. * For teams (early access): approve a work inbox and Lapses finds the renewals you're already paying for, grouped for review.
THE TRUST DECISION I'm asking people for their passports and their inbox, which is a lot. So Lapses reads a document to get the date, then doesn't keep it unless you choose to. And it won't look at any inbox until the owner of that inbox approves it by email.
Lapses replaces the reminder you forgot to set.
