Sarvam AI OCR is an automated n8n workflow designed to digitize and structure data from invoice PDFs with minimal manual effort. It captures uploaded documents, processes them using Sarvam’s document intelligence API, and retrieves OCR output in a structured format. The workflow then refines the extracted text using an LLM to identify key invoice fields such as invoice number, date, product details, and total amount, enabling accurate and consistent data extraction across documents.

This workflow was adapted and enhanced from a starter template in the n8n templates collection, with added logic for improved reliability via loop based processing. It is ideal for finance, operations, and accounting use cases where scalable invoice processing and automation are required, reducing manual data entry while improving accuracy and efficiency.
