This is a great use of scroll as narrative rather than decoration—the map progression makes the water-level story feel like it’s unfolding in real time. The restrained typography and dark cartographic treatment give the data real weight.

How do you make cybersecurity data actually interesting to watch?
No outside production team - I handled the whole thing, from the first storyboard to the final animation.
The video itself is a short promo built around Cymphony’s product, with a mix of UI, typography and 3D throughout.
A lot happens in under a minute, but this is one of those projects where the final result stayed very close to what I had in mind from the beginning.
