🛸 BEAM ME TO LA
Ride type: flying saucer Destination: LA Crew: three aliens, extremely confident
Pickup: flawless Navigation: questionable Stops before LA: more than one
Rider rating: ★★★★☆. Suitcase rating: no comment.
The brief said to think beyond planes, cars and Ubers. So I kept the ride app and swapped the car for a flying saucer, crewed by three aliens with total confidence and no sense of direction.
🎬 How it was made: every AI image and clip was generated in CapCut Video Studio ① Cast and props first (GPT Image 2.5, 2K): the traveller, the three-alien crew, the saucer, the yellow suitcase (clean and alligator-chewed) and the Audrey Irmas Pavilion. ② Empty location plates next. Each first frame was composed from a plate plus the cast and props, attached in the same order every time, so the same face, jacket and suitcase turn up at every stop. ③ The stops were animated with Seedance 2.0 Fast (720p, 9:16), with one timed action per beat. From the lake prompt: "6–7.5s: a hard cone of pale white light slams down onto him from above…" ④ The ending is Seedance 2.5 Start & End frames. I generated the end frame first (suitcase landed), then removed the suitcase to make the start frame, so only the drop has to move. The phone tap is Seedance 1.5 Pro keyframes. ⑤ Cut in CapCut: a buzzer for each wrong stop, a marimba for the right one, and the music drops out before the suitcase lands. The place names are typography, not generated text: each stamp lands as LA, then the rest of the name fills in around those two letters. The animated stamps and end card were built with Claude Code and Codex, then placed on the CapCut timeline.
