Bet I can convince you to start using Pinterest? 😉
Here are a few strong reasons why you should pay attention to this platform 👇🏻
1. Long-lasting content. Pinterest content can continue to be discovered and saved for months and even years. Unlike Instagram Stories or Reels, your content doesn’t simply disappear from people’s feeds after 24 hours.Imagine creating one piece of content that can continue bringing you potential customers for an entire year.
2. Less competition. Right now, it’s still relatively easy to stand out on Pinterest compared to many other social platforms. There is a lot of room for businesses to build visibility and reach new audiences.
3. You don’t need to post every day. Pinterest content has a long lifespan, so you don’t have to constantly create new content just to stay visible.
4. Pinterest drives traffic to your website. Pinterest is designed to help users discover content and click through to external websites and resources. So why not take advantage of that?
5. A large audience. Pinterest has a global audience of hundreds of millions of users. And yes, women make up the majority of Pinterest users. So… is Pinterest part of your marketing strategy yet?
200 reactions look great, but what do they tell us?
As a content and social media manager, I look beyond the engagement count: are we reaching the people we want to reach and getting the response we’re aiming for?
If the goal is to generate product interest, I’d rather see 20 people asking about the product than 200 simply liking the video.
Both can be valuable, but the goal determines which matters more.
