From choosing the logo font and colors and planning the UX/UI to simple animations for the bot and logo to the actual build using lovable, I really enjoyed the process
I first planned and mocked up the entire UX before diving into Lovable, and then with just 2 prompts I built the entire experience.
The catch: the FREE chat feature of Lovable. With that, I planned and organized first, sent all the rough layouts, and then asked it build it under 100 credits.
Later? I left with 180 credits to refine the product, Now, I just built the landing page without any UI inspiration
The scroll animation you see below, Lovable did this for me.
I am pretty impressed how great Lovable is at this.

Love the process here. Planning the UX first and then using Lovable for execution rather than asking it to figure everything out seems to be the real trick.
Two prompts is impressive. Did you find that giving it rough layouts upfront reduced the amount of correction/refinement significantly?
I know that many people who've done a website design for their own personal brands tend to say something like, "I am my worst client!" because of numerous unexpected revisions, perfectionism, constant changes made to it etc.
I guess I accidentally chose another path...
To me, working with myself as a client has been a pleasure. First of all, the deadline could be broken — no deadline at all! Sick leave? No problem honey, you can go have an extra cup of cocoa. Workaholic alter-ego is gonna sit in mental prison for a while.
Secondly, our taste matches. I literally got to catch everything I only thought about AND made it come true. Isn't it amazing? You think it — you got it!
To my greatest surprise, as a former perfectionist myself, I wasn't demanding at all. I understood that I must give myself freedom while having some constraints — by the way, they are stated in the full case, check it out here:

To those who have ever made designs for themselves, what type of client were you? Were you strict or, vice versa, let yourself be as creative as possible? Maybe you skipped a wireframe stage and went right to designs?..

@paper has made the transition from design iterations to a live iOS app incredibly seamless. Being able to show clients exactly what their app will look and feel like in a working build makes the entire process easier to communicate.
From there, I can focus on what I enjoy most: designing, refining, and making decisions while @claudeai handles the repetitive development work.
At this point, I’m essentially delegating, reviewing, and watching it all come together in real time.
