Game-Ready 80s Vintage Carbine | High-fidelity Asset Development
I’m excited to share my latest project: A 19th-century inspired, 80s era game-ready carbine, built from scratch with a focus on realism and performance.
As a 3D Artist, my goal is to bridge the gap between hyper-realistic visuals and game-engine optimization. This asset was developed using a full industry-standard pipeline to ensure it's ready for any modern FPS or RPG environment.
Technical Breakdown:
Modeling: High-poly sculpting for micro-details, baked onto a clean, optimized Low-poly mesh (Blender).
Texturing: Advanced PBR workflow in Substance Painter to achieve realistic weathering on wood and metal surfaces.
Optimization: Strategic UV unwrapping to maximize texel density and maintain 4K detail without sacrificing performance.
Engine Ready: Topology is clean, manifold, and tested for seamless integration.
Software Stack: Blender | Substance Painter | Cycles Renderer Open for New Opportunities!
