When I started freelancing, I thought being being an external hire meant doing what clients said. But I realized I offer services, and those services are UX decisions that bring clarity and save time.
Product teams often chase speed, but skipping planning actually slows things down. Unclear flows, too many MVP features, and no launch plan create more work.
You wouldn't build a house by buying bricks first to save time, right? 🏠
✅ That’s why every project I take (website or product) starts with a discovery phase. Who you are, who your audience is, what you want to achieve. Then everything else falls into place.
If you don’t know your destination, how will you get there?
How do you approach your projects and did you compromise UX methods to "please" the client before?

@Andrew Norman 100%! It feels okay at first but once it all has to come together, it's so much fixing that it would've just paid out to do it right from the get-go.
