I’m an architectural photographer and the founder of Evi Mono Awards. For over a decade, Squarespace has been the platform I’ve trusted to transform ideas into websites that combine design, storytelling and purpose.

Evi Mono Awards was born from a simple belief - women working in monochrome photography deserve greater visibility and recognition. I wanted to create more than a photography competition. I wanted to build an international platform where photographers could share their work, gain recognition, connect with respected professionals and become part of a creative community.

Squarespace allowed me to transform that vision into reality. Rather than spending months developing complex infrastructure, I could focus on creating a clear identity, an intuitive user experience and a space that truly reflects the values behind the project.

Today, Evi Mono Awards brings together an international jury of respected photographers, editors and artists, while welcoming submissions from photographers across the world. What began as a simple idea is growing into an international creative initiative built around monochrome photography and meaningful recognition.

For me, Squarespace has never been just a website builder. It has been the platform that helped transform an idea into an international creative community with real purpose and global reach.
