An editorial illustration created for DOXA Journal, accompanying an article about the treatment of teenagers in psychiatric clinics in Russia. The text explores personal stories of adolescents who faced stigma and isolation within the system.

My goal was to reflect the fragility, loneliness, and longing for home while keeping a respectful and empathetic tone. I created this artwork in Procreate, using soft textures and expressive hand-drawn lines to convey emotional depth and quiet tension.
