Earlier this year, I redesigned Orbital Catering. (One of the leading catering companies in Manhattan).
Their clients are some very well known enterprise companies, and they came to me because they looked like it was still 2010 and like a designer had never touched their website...
I gave them new positioning, a new website, and a rebrand that reflected their scale and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, made the company stand out in their space
Most catering websites I looked at during the project looked almost indistinguishable from each other, with no real design language and just boring (which definitely isn’t a sign of being enterprise-level).
2 months after launch, they hit RECORD sales and improved every meaningful metric (bookings, direct orders, time on page, scroll depth)
This is one of my most successful client cases this year, and I can confidently say that design made the difference and took them to the next level.
The whole journey and the results were measured.
I’m incredibly proud of this case because it shows, in a very concrete way, how much the right design matters for a serious business ❤️

Great job Andrei. Tying design directly to real business metrics like record sales and bookings is the ultimate proof of good design. were you able to see which single section or feature contributed the most to that jump in conversion rate?

Scroll depth going up alongside bookings is the detail that jumps out to me, most case studies only ever mention conversions. Were the record sales what you expected once the rebrand launched, or did the size of the jump surprise even you?
