Meet Sam. He runs a highly requested mobile pet grooming van in Denver, but standard booking calendars are quietly killing his margins. Because generic apps let customers pick any time slot they want, Sam spends two to three hours a day zig-zagging across the city in traffic, burning fuel and losing out on actual appointments just to accommodate a messy schedule.
To fix this, I built Paws & Puddle, a web app that solves his geographic routing nightmare before a booking ever hits the calendar. Instead of a basic form, I engineered a zero-click geo-gate. It automatically fetches a user's zip code via location services and dynamically filters the calendar to only show availability for the specific days Sam’s van is already assigned to their neighborhood.
Because forced logins instantly kill conversion rates, I designed a completely frictionless guest checkout. But to ensure long-term retention, the Thank You page features a "Guest-to-Auth" funnel that seamlessly converts their inputted data into an account post-booking, simply by asking the user to "set a password to track your van's ETA."
Backed by a full operator console where Sam can manage custom service zones, assign route days, and trigger automated status emails, this build proves that premium, minimalist design and aggressive problem-solving belong in the exact same app.

Tatiana Beauty is a booking and operations system built for a real makeup artist and educator in Chișinău, Moldova.
Most customer inquiries start on Instagram or WhatsApp with questions like “Are you free Saturday?”, “How much is makeup?” or “Can I book makeup and hair?”
What looks like a simple question creates repetitive work: checking the calendar, proposing times, waiting for a reply, confirming the appointment, sending reminders, handling rescheduling and trying to refill cancelled slots.
Tatiana Beauty moves that coordination into one workflow.
Customers see real availability and request an appointment themselves. Tatiana keeps control with final booking approval, while confirmations, reminders and customer self-service handle the routine follow-up.
When a time becomes available, the waitlist can automatically find the oldest compatible customer, reserve the slot temporarily and offer it to them. If accepted, it converts safely into a normal booking request.
The system also coordinates combined Makeup + Hair appointments across Tatiana and Diana’s independent calendars.
For Tatiana, the private studio brings together appointments, manual Instagram/WhatsApp bookings, working hours, blocked time, customers, waitlist activity and operational impact.

Booked by Ironwood — an AI-powered booking and follow-up system for Ironwood Tree Service, a solo tree contractor in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
The problem: contractors lose jobs to phone tag. Customers call during work hours, hit voicemail, and book with whoever picks up first. The owner burns hours on the phone and eats no-shows.
What it does: customers book themselves in 60 seconds — pick a service, snap a photo of the tree, grab a time slot, get instant confirmation. On the owner side, Dale's dashboard puts every job on one screen, with automatic SMS confirmations plus 24-hour and 2-hour reminders that cut no-shows. The stats bar proves the ROI: 13 bookings this week, 4 hours of phone tag eliminated.
Why I built it: this is the working demo for a sellable product — the same system I offer local contractors as a $1,250 setup. One build, reusable for every tree service, plumber, and roofer who'd rather be on the job than on the phone.
