I designed and built a real-time market data and execution research system in Rust. It integrates REST and WebSocket APIs, processes live order-book data, records the complete execution lifecycle, and reconciles fills, fees, and latency. The system includes structured logging, data-integrity monitoring, reproducible reports, and strict safety controls for demo and research environments. It does not claim strategy profitability or enable unattended live trading.

Toughest for me was a rich text editor that swallowed the first keystroke when it took focus. No error, no crash, the text just published with the first letter missing. It stayed hidden a while precisely because nothing failed loudly. Now I read the field back before submitting....
Turbine Real-Time Power Monitoring — Mobile App Design
Designing a monitoring app is mostly an exercise in restraint.
There’s always more data you could put on the screen.
For this concept, we focused on making real-time turbine and power information easy to scan and understand on mobile.
The design brings together live monitoring, performance data, trends and key insights without making the interface feel like an industrial control panel.
The goal was simple: make complex information feel easy to use.
This is the kind of product WaxyWeb enjoys working on — technology-heavy products where thoughtful UX can make a real difference.
