A HomeLab - Production-Grade Self-Hosted Infrastructure
Details:
Designed and operated a multi-node home lab on Proxmox VE with LXC containers and VMs —
running 8+ self-hosted services in production.
- Services: Immich (photo management), Nextcloud, Jellyfin, Gitea, Home Assistant, Pi-hole,
OpenClaw (AI agent), Coolify (PaaS layer).
- Backup strategy: Proxmox Backup Server (PBS) on a dedicated node — incremental, deduped
backups with verified restores.
- Networking: Cloudflare Tunnel for zero-trust remote access, Pi-hole + local DNS overrides,
Tailscale VPN for CGNAT traversal.
- Containerisation: Docker workloads managed via Coolify, Traefik reverse proxy with TLS,
environment-based config management.

While the role uses AWS serverless and TypeScript, this project shows the same backend engineering fundamentals: API correctness, data consistency, event-driven thinking, authentication flows, and production-style system design.
