Project Overview: E-commerce Product Retouching & Isolation
This project showcases professional product photography retouching, focusing on background removal, clean isolation, and texture enhancement for an e-commerce leather asset.
The Challenge: The original photo (Before) had a busy wooden background with distracting elements (leaves) and uneven ambient lighting, which made it unsuitable for a clean online store catalog.
My Process & Solution:
Background Removal & Isolation: Perfectly masked and cut out the leather pouch/wallet from the original background, delivering a clean, transparent/white studio-ready background (After).
Product Cleanup: Enhanced the natural leather texture, adjusted the highlights, and removed minor imperfections while maintaining the product's authentic color accuracy.
Shadow and Edge Precision: Maintained clean, sharp edges around the strap and zipper for a premium, high-end look
