Being a software developer sounded very different when I started.
I thought I'd spend my days:
→ Building cool products
→ Learning AI
→ Writing clean code
→ Making good money
→ Working from anywhere
Nobody told me I'd also spend my days:
→ Googling the same error 14 different ways
→ Reading documentation like a detective
→ Fixing something that worked yesterday
→ Saying “just one small change” 37 times
→ Questioning every career decision at 2 AM
And somehow...
I still love it.
Because every time you finally understand something that confused you for days, you realize why developers keep coming back.
The frustrating part is the job.
The addictive part is figuring it out.
Maybe that's why we're still here. 😂
