DAY 4/20 — What if reliable solar power was accessible without paying the full cost upfront? ☀️
One of the biggest challenges many African youth in the tech space face is unreliable electricity.
For freelancers, remote workers, developers, designers, and content creators, electricity isn't just a convenience.
It's part of the infrastructure they need to work.
You can have the skills.
You can have the laptop.
You can even have the client.
But without reliable power, productivity suffers.
Solar can help solve this problem.
But there's another barrier:
The upfront cost.
So I started thinking:
What if reliable solar power was accessible without paying the full cost upfront?
Imagine a platform where people could:
→ Choose a solar system based on what they need to power
→ See the total cost clearly
→ Select a flexible payment plan
→ Track their payment progress
→ Access reliable power without needing the entire amount upfront
The goal isn't simply to sell solar systems.
It's to make reliable electricity more accessible to the people who need it to work, create, learn, and build.
Because sometimes, the barrier between a young African and their next opportunity isn't skill.
It's electricity.
