I've been thinking a lot about the state of design lately. Design is losing its soul. Between 2016 and 2018, we entered an era where everything started to look the same. "Inspiration" often meant rearranging pieces of the same tired UI patterns. Where was the individuality? The bold art direction? The branding that stood out instead of blending in? Thankfully, I think we’re starting to break out of that sameness nearly a decade later.

But here’s something to reflect on today: Give your designs energy, life, personality. Don’t settle for safe or forgettable. Make something people remember. Make it unique. Or, as my old design instructor at uni would say: Make it sing. That’s all. Image used for attention, it's Digital Design, but just a reminder how these things can make you stop and look.
