Performance work on a Flutter app tends to start in the wrong file. The animation gets blamed because that's when the stutter shows up. When I profile, the cost usually sits further back. A ListView that can't skip measuring its off-screen children, because nothing told it how tall they are. An image that decodes at its source resolution and holds that full bitmap in memory while displaying inside a thumbnail. Rebuild scope is the third one. An AnimatedBuilder wrapping a subtree it never animates will rebuild all of it, sixty times a second. None of this needs a rewrite.
