Everyone else flew. I deployed.
Not flying to LA, so I arrived the only way a developer knows how. A git push. The film follows one branch from a terminal in Sargodha to the main stage at CapCut World LA. The pipeline draws the route in ink, runs the travel checks (passport not required, jet lag 0 ms), ships a container with my name on it, and the deploy lands on the stage screen in front of the crowd. HTTP/2 200 OK.
How it was made
1. Terminal, pipeline and ink route are rendered from code. An HTML scene exposes a seek(t) function, a headless browser steps through it frame by frame at 1080p. The route is 1,500 streamlines following a turbulence field from Sargodha to Los Angeles, drawn incrementally so the line count climbs with the distance counter.
2. The venue is CapCut. Seedance prompt, locked-off wide shot of a creator conference main stage with a switched-off LED screen, crowd silhouettes, haze. The terminal is fitted onto that screen as a picture-in-picture so the text stays sharp.
3. Sound. Pad, crowd and the closing voice line are CapCut Video Studio, the voice is CapCut text-to-speech. The keyboard is not a stock loop, every click is generated from the exact frame each character appears, 121 keys, so sound and picture are locked. Stems level-matched and loudness-normalised, final cut mastered and exported in CapCut Video Studio. Hard cuts at 15s, 29s and 35s.
4. Proof kept, the code scenes, frame renders, Seedance prompts and Studio chat history.
