Almost 3 years ago, I started my freelancing journey... and my first big challenge changed everything. š
Like many beginners, I started on Fiverr with zero reputation and a lot of determination.
In my very first week, a client messaged me with a web scraping project. It wasn't a simple oneāit required:
- Logging into a protected website
- Bypassing CAPTCHA
- Scraping complex data
I said, "Let's do it."
The client replied:
"Three other freelancers have already wasted my time. Show me an MVP first, and then we'll talk."
Challenge accepted.
For the next 7 days, I focused on solving the hardest part: login automation and CAPTCHA bypass. When I demonstrated the working MVP, the client was impressed and immediately created a $1,300 project.
I completed the full scraping logic, delivered a live demo, and let the client test everything independently.
Result?
ā Order accepted without any revisions
ā 5-star review
š° $150 tip on top of the project value
That project taught me a lesson I'll never forget:
Clients don't pay for promisesāthey pay for solving problems.
Since then, I've worked on dozens of projects, from advanced web scraping and browser automation to AI-powered solutions, consistently delivering results and building long-term client relationships.
I still approach every new project the same way I approached my first one:
Embrace difficult challenges.
Focus on delivering value.
Let the work speak for itself.

Hi everyone! Iām still pretty new to freelancing, and Iāve been slowly getting a feel for how things work. Over time, I started noticing that different jobs can feel quite different in terms of time, effort, and overall return.
So I built Earnova: a simple dashboard to help freelancers track their income, compare platforms, and understand their real input vs output.

This is my very first time using Bubble, and also my first time building an app.
I started by using Bubble AI to generate the initial structure, then I slowly tweaked the UI, workflow, and database to make it actually work the way I needed. I may also explore adding OpenAI features later to make the insights more helpful.
Itās very much a learning-by-doing project, and still far from perfect.
The share link might also look a bit messy since I built and tested it mostly on mobile š¦ thanks for bearing with that.
Overall, itās my first attempt to turn scattered freelance work into something clearer, so we can all make better decisions about our time and energy.

I'm continuing to expand the platform with creator analytics, subscriptions, improved discovery, and more marketplace features.

How can you start to change the world in a week? š
Introducing: PLOT
For this Bubble #promptandcircumstance challenge, I spent that time building out this Community-focused application where people share their placemaking projects alongside insights and updates that others can learn from. You can explore initiatives across multiple categories, see details and updates, learn from their processes, discover new communities, and start initiatives of your own.
For me, inspiration for innovation has always come mostly from small towns. Not the San Franciscos or New Yorks of the world ā the Mabletons and the Abbevilles. Why? Because there . . . conversions mean getting your friend to help with a food drive, not acquiring users. Growth is rooted in seeing small grassroots initiatives turn into bigger ones, and there arenāt 6 rounds of interviews required ā just grabbing a shovel and being willing to get a little dirty. š§š¾āš¾
The app was originally called Tend (inspired by a local garden I now help with when spending time away from my screen), but the brand strategist in me thought a little harder and changed it to Plot. Because the platform is about more than caring for communities. It's about intentionally planning, shaping, and sharing the projects rooted in a place (kind of like plotting a garden before it grows).
