a shopify freelancer asked me for supplement brands to pitch.
275 sites in. 113 on shopify. 42 opened on a phone, one by one. 15 with a gap worth pitching.
this one has subscribe & save set up, 5% off. but every option on the page still says $26.99, same as buying once. the discount only shows at checkout.
every store got the same: the gap, a phone screenshot of it, the load speed and a contact.

Different products need different shopping experiences.
When exploring Shopify store design, I like thinking about how the brand, product category, and customer journey should influence the final layout.
For example:
→ A home decor store needs strong visual presentation and an editorial feel.
→ A coffee equipment store needs clear categories and product information that helps customers compare options.
→ A fitness store needs organized collections and a straightforward path to the right equipment.
The goal isn't to use the same design for every business.
It's to understand what each store needs and build an experience around it.
These concepts explore three different directions, but they share one principle:

SOLVENNE — Luxury Beauty Shopify Store
I created SOLVENNE as a luxury Shopify storefront for a body care and fragrance brand. The experience pairs sunlit editorial imagery with clear shopping paths: explore the collection, discover a personal ritual, browse fragrances, and find a gift.
The design carries the same visual identity from the first impression through product discovery, with responsive layouts and calls to action that make the store beautiful to browse and easy to shop.
