Before/after on age verification for a client's app redesign. The old age gate asked for a number without any context, which made the step feel random and easy to skip through. In the redesign, the screen explains why age is needed, shows a proper date picker, and adds an “I am under 18 years old” option that disables the counter when checked to prevent accidental misuse. This keeps us compliant and transparent, while making it clearer for younger users what they should do instead of guessing their way past the screen.
