With the FIFA World Cup 2026 in full swing right now, I wanted to
bring a piece of that energy into something people could actually
play, not just watch. That's where this came from.
World Cup 2026 Skill Challenge is a quick, interactive football
game built in Omma for the #ommabuildathon. The opening loading
animation features a 3D football generated in Omma Studio,
rotating in with a soft glow before you head into the game. From
there, you enter your name, kick off, and race against the clock
to score as many goals as you can — with a goalkeeper standing
between you and the net. At full time, you get your own
personalized result card with a score-based tier badge (Bronze,
Silver, or Gold), so every player walks away with something that
feels like theirs.
What I loved most about building this was how naturally Omma let
me go from a rough idea to a fully playable, polished experience —
the Studio-generated 3D ball, the glowing stadium-night visuals,
the scoring logic, all coming together in one flow.
