First time participating in a Contra challenge.

I'm primarily a Webflow & Framer developer, so most of my work involves implementing design decisions rather than making them.

That led me to a question:

How do you actually train your design eye?

So I've been building EyeCheck — a design perception experiment that tests spacing, typography, hierarchy, color, and visual judgment while comparing your answers with community consensus.

One thing I've already discovered while building it:

Designers agree far less than I expected.

Some decisions reach 90%+ agreement.

Others are nearly 50/50.

And those are usually the most interesting conversations.

Still refining the experience before submission, but I'd love feedback from the design community:

Try to design it the old school way, and then use AI to build it into a working prototype/product. Will most likely take more time doing what you enjoy (if you enjoy designing), less time back and forth prompting to fix things (and burn credits). Use any other AI you're paying...
