OpenMRS is an open-source Java EMR platform for managing patient records, clinical workflows, and healthcare data exchange. It uses MySQL with Hibernate, supports HL7/FHIR interoperability, and runs containerized via Docker on Linux. I developed backend services, REST/FHIR APIs, HL7 messaging, optimized schemas, implemented role-based security, and deployed scalable, modular EMR environments for secure, interoperable healthcare operations.
