After five successful years as a Top Rated Plus Presentation Designer on Upwork, I’m evolving my practice. While Upwork was a fantastic launchpad, the current landscape of high competition and rising fees has pushed me to seek a more collaborative, brand-first environment.
I’m thrilled to announce my move to Contra. What drew me in was the platform’s focus on community—allowing us to share insights, tips, and direct social connections rather than just competing for a contract. "Hi, I'm Seema. For the Mobbin and Contra challenge, I wanted to design a premium travel app focused on exploring heritage sites and traditional art.
First, I used Mobbin to study the user interface of top luxury booking apps. I paid close attention to how they layout their search filters and keep their detail pages looking clean and aspirational.
Then, I moved over to Figma to build my 5 key screens. I incorporated rich visual elements and even designed a custom logo to give the app an authentic, high-end feel. Thanks for checking out my project!"
