A week ago, someone reached out to me on LinkedIn about a problem their company was looking to solve in the construction industry.
After discussing the goals and understanding the workflow, I started building TenderIQ, an AI Tender Intelligence & Bid Decision Platform.
Construction companies can receive tenders that span hundreds of pages, containing technical specifications, qualification requirements, HSE conditions, insurance requirements, deadlines, evaluation criteria, financial conditions, and legal obligations.
The real challenge isn't simply reading or summarizing these documents.
It's answering:
“Should we spend our time and resources bidding for this project?”
That's the problem I'm trying to solve with TenderIQ.
The current system can already:
1. Extract and process tender documents
2. Create searchable document representations
3. Retrieve relevant information using semantic search
4. Use RAG to answer questions against the tender
5. Identify mandatory requirements
6. Extract submission documents, deadlines, risks, and constraints
7. Provide answers with supporting sources
8. Expose the intelligence through a FastAPI backend
The goal is to take this further:
Tender Document → Understand → Extract → Compare → Identify Risk → Recommend → Assist Bid Team
I'm particularly excited about this project because it's pushing me beyond building AI demos. I'm working on an AI system designed around a real business decision and workflow.
Still building. Still testing. Still improving.
But this is one of the projects I'm most excited about right now. 🚀

🚀 Opening up for AI/ML Engineering Contracts
I've spent the last few years working across AI/ML engineering, LLM systems, agentic architectures, automation, and software engineering, while also building products as a technical founder.
I've recently opened up my availability for contract and project-based engineering work.
I'm particularly interested in helping startups and teams with:

I enjoy the problems that sit somewhere between research and production: taking an idea that works in a notebook or prototype and turning it into something that can actually run, scale, and be measured.
I'm especially interested in projects where there is a real engineering problem to solve, whether that's reducing inference costs, working within hardware constraints, designing an agentic workflow, automating a business process, or building an AI system from the ground up.
