Hip hop and culture writing is such a specific lane, and a smart one since so much of that content still gets written generically. What pulled you toward narrative storytelling over straight reviews or news coverage in that space?
I’ve always been more interested in the story behind the music than just whether something is good or bad. Hip-hop is full of stories about identity, ambition, struggle and culture. Narrative storytelling gives me room to explore those ideas and make the reader feel something...

Through this video, I learned a lot about how sound works. In previous variations, I struggled to balance the background audio with the female voiceover. At times, the audio was jittery, and the animations didn't quite align.
To solve this, I created a storyboard and used Figma alongside other design tools to feed context to the Claude.
This video is the result of that process. Ultimately, I learned that no single tool can do it all. You have to bring your own skill, taste, and vision to the table. It starts with a clear rough board, followed by extensive brainstorming. Only then can you achieve a truly amazing final output.
The honesty in this breakdown is great, Vraj. Learning to balance voiceover against background audio is the hard part of video work. The storyboard-to-Claude process sounds solid.
Short-form video created to promote my documentary about the current situation in France and the broader changes the country is facing — protests, economic pressure, immigration, integration, security and national identity. I handled the research, scripting, editing, visuals and overall storytelling.
