I literally had to launch my website behind my own back 😭💻
As a brand designer, I kept finding one more thing to tweak before going live. A font, a layout, another section… the list never ended.
But building with @Base44 reminded me that launching doesn't mean you're finished. It means you've started.
✨ Here's what I built:
🌐 BrandingbyEl Website: A fully designed, published, mobile-responsive website that I can continue improving as my business grows.
🚀 Before The Launch (BTL) : A brand clarity tool. It helps founders work through their ideas, identify gaps, and get clearer on their brand before working with a designer.
My biggest takeaway? Progress deserves to be published, too.
Both projects are live, and I'm excited to keep building, learning, and improving along the way.

Akash Trading : a tape & sealant wholesaler whose whole business lived inside WhatsApp
THE BEFORE: Akash Trading supplies packaging tapes, cable ties, window hardware and sealants to dealers across India. Every order arrived as a chat: "rate batao?" (what's the price?), "48 mm brown, 20 cartons", "ship by tomorrow?". No catalogue, no record of who asked for what, no follow-up. Every quote was typed by hand, and a buried message meant a lost order.
THE AFTER: I designed it in Paper and built it on @Base44: a catalogue and sales system that keeps WhatsApp at the centre instead of replacing it. Clean editorial UI, one Akash blue, one lime accent, with paper notes and their own printed tape holding every page together. The hero is an illustrated shop where you click a shelf to see that range and its prices. A carton seals itself in 3D as you scroll, and you can pull a strip off the tape roll in the footer. Light and dark mode; on phones it's rebuilt with a bottom bar and sheets, not a shrunk desktop.
THE AUTOMATION:
• Enquiry list: buyers pick sizes and quantities and send the full order to WhatsApp in one tap
• Every enquiry is saved with a reference number, so nothing gets lost in a chat
• Owner dashboard: today's summary, enquiries by status, most-enquired products, who needs a follow-up
• Quotes drafted from bulk price tiers and minimum orders, ready to send back on WhatsApp
Same WhatsApp their customers already use. Now there's a sales system behind it.
