As a part of my proofreading services, I offer the following:

A line-by-line check of your document to indicate errors (a contrasting color will be used for clear identification. Please let me know if you'd like me to indicate errors another way such as the use of bold or italics). If preferred and requested, errors can be fixed directly by me - otherwise, they will just be marked up and need to be changed by the client.

Verification of all spelling, punctuation, grammar, composition, and capitalization.

Ensuring formatting is consistent across pages and documents of the same type, including graphic sizes and table formats.

Checking the correctness of dates, URLs, and ensuring phone numbers ring to the intended recipient.

Reading the document in its entirety to ensure flow and clarity.

Check the readability of the document if printed or saved to different formats (Word, PDF).

Use of any reference material including style guides, useage rules, and brand standards as indicated by the client.

Ensuring documents adhere to the standards set forth in the WCAG accessibility guidelines (if requested).

Other tasks as discussed and agreed upon by both parties.
