There is a huge pressure on a kid to choose a career path to full fill “go to school, get good grades and get a job and work hard”.
But I came to realize another meaning behind that sentence. Money is what is said to be important. No money no living a comfortable lifestyle or even surviving.
That’s why people work hard to earn money. And it makes money highly valued in the society.
Sure Money isn’t all, but Money is a tool.
The world is so wide that fortunately there is different ways to earn money.
Not just the way school teach to earn money (become an employee), and not necessary by those careers shown in school.
With knowledge on, money is being printed every day and losing its actual value.
Money is really just a tool to please our desire. Having the effort to buy the dream car, dream house, vacation, etc.
(Because money is losing its value, all debt isn’t bad if you know how to take advantage of it.)
Most people are exchanging time with money, but should they not be working towards exchanging money for time?
Because…
How many days could they survive if they stopped working, with the amount of money they have today?
Could their savings in bank or money put in 401k (retirement plan) help them in situation like this pandemic, Covid-19.
Well they would probably last a few month…
While nothing is wrong with working to earn money, saving money or going to school to get a university degree…
People should at least be minding their assets. Exchange money for time. And exchange money for things that has true value.
And you know ways to achieve that because you already achieved it, and want to inspire many people as possible to take control of their finance.
