Process

1. Discovery Call
We’ll start with a discovery call to see if we’re a good fit and to discuss your project goals, scope, audience, and expectations. You’ll receive a brief proposal before committing.
2. Research & Assets
We’ll dive into your audience, competition, and design preferences to build a clear strategy. I’ll also start collecting assets for the site, like your brand files, logo, images, and content.
3. Design Direction
I’ll create a couple of homepage design concepts to align on a visual direction before building. This phase may also include wireframes to establish layout and flow before moving into high-fidelity designs.
4. Framer Development
All pages will be built in Framer for a complete, fully functional website. The site will be intuitive, fast-loading, and optimized to give users the best experience possible.
5. Feedback & Iteration
We’ll collaborate on revisions, fine-tuning the website with small tweaks until you’re happy and confident it’s a great fit for your audience.
6. Launch!
I’ll transfer the site to you and support you through the launch. I’ll also be available to fix any post-launch bugs for the next two weeks.

  • How long will the project take?

    The project timeline greatly depends on the overall scope. After our initial discovery call, I’ll provide a more accurate estimated timeline, but most websites are completed in about four weeks.

  • How does pricing work?

    Pricing will be based on your specific project, and you’ll receive a clear proposal before committing. For reference, most 5–8 page marketing websites range from $6,000 to $12,000. I'm happy to work within your budget.

  • Why should I hire you over someone else?

    While new to Contra, I'm far from new to websites. I’m a senior level designer with over fifteen years of experience delivering high-quality websites and products, and have even co-founded multiple startups.

  • Do you write the copy?

    I do not handle copywriting myself, but I can direct you to skilled copywriters I've worked with in the past who can help refine your content if you're interested.

  • Are SEO services included?

    Your site will follow technical and on-page best practices, but full SEO is an ongoing effort, and honestly, its effectiveness is currently being debated because of AI. I do not provide any ongoing SEO services.

  • Can you maintain the site after launch?

    Absolutely. If you’re looking for ongoing support, we can discuss setting up a monthly retainer for guaranteed availability, or an hourly rate for ad hoc revisions.

    We’ll design and build a beautiful, fully functional Framer website that helps you convert customers. It will be user-friendly, responsive across all devices, and conversion-focused. If needed, we can also integrate Framer’s CMS at no extra cost.

  • Strategy Session

    I want to deliver more than just a beautiful website. Together, we’ll shape a clear website strategy so it becomes a powerful marketing tool, covering everything from goals and content to pages, audience, and traffic.

  • On-Page SEO

    The role of SEO is often debated in the age of AI, but we’ll still ensure your website follows best practices and is fully optimized. We can also explore this in more detail when we go over your website strategy.

  • Launch Support

    Framer makes launching your website simple. I’ll transfer the site to you with a private link and support you through the launch. For the first two weeks, I’ll also fix any post-launch bugs at no cost.

  • Documentation

    I offer a monthly maintenance package, but if you’d prefer not to subscribe, I’ll provide a video walkthrough that shows you how to make basic copy and image updates on your own.
