I will create a custom quote for you based on your unique needs. Here's a breakdown of the focus group costs that you can expect:
INITAL CONSULTATION = Complementary ($0)
FOCUS GROUP QUESTION DEVELOPMENT = $150 flat fee
RECRUITMENT = $150 flat fee + $50 per person recruited (covers my cost of using the Respondent.io recruitment platform).
COMPENSATION = $40+ per participant (goes to the focus group participant to thank them for their time). I suggest paying each person $40 minimum to increase attendance rate.
FOCUS GROUP FACILITATION = $150 per 1-hour group facilitated.
ANALYSIS AND REPORTING = $150 for analysis and 5-page summary report.
ADDITIONAL OPTIONS:
-Video/audio recordings of focus groups are provided to clients for free.
-Market research, surveys, presentation decks, and additional research services are available to add on as-needed to fit your project needs.
I use a platform called Respondent.io, which gives researchers access to over 3 million people across the globe. Anyone can apply to an open research study on the website. Once I have enough applicants, I can pick who I want to invite to the actual focus group. You only pay per person who actually attends the group.
During our first consultation, I will ask you questions to understand exactly what you want to get out of the focus groups. I will then craft a series of questions that get at the data you desire; I'll share the list of questions with you for one round of feedback before running the groups.
I can run as many focus groups as you need! Each group lasts one hour and can include up to 8 participants. For example: If you wanted to invite 24 participants total, that would mean running 3 separate focus groups of 8 participants.
I will need to know:
-Who you want to invite (demographics or behaviors of your target audience)
-What you want to ask them (ideas for question generation)
-Your ideal outcome (how you want to use the final data, which will impact which questions I ask and how I ask them)
