FAQs

  • How do I know if this service is right for me?

If you're looking for more than just a logo and want a strategic, well-crafted brand identity that aligns with your vision and resonates with your audience, this is for you. Whether you're launching a new brand or refining an existing one, I help you build a cohesive, intentional identity that stands out.

  • How much involvement do I need in the process?

This is a collaborative process, but I make it as seamless as possible. You’ll provide insights through a brand questionnaire or a 1:1 call, review the mood board and brand presentation, and give feedback during the two rounds of refinements. I handle the heavy lifting, translating everything into a strong, strategic identity.

  • How long does the process take?

Typically, the entire branding process takes 4-6 weeks, depending on the complexity and the speed of feedback rounds. I ensure each phase gets the attention it deserves without unnecessary delays.

  • How will we communicate during the project?

I'm flexible when communicating with my client whether you prefer Slack, WhatsApp, or Telegram, I'm good with whatever works best for you when it comes to updates and feedback.

  • What if I need my brand identity faster?

If you have a tight deadline, let’s chat! I take on rush projects on a case-by-case basis for an additional fee.

  • What if I already have a logo? Can you refine it instead of designing a new one?

Absolutely! If your current logo has strong foundations but needs refinement, I can work with you to elevate it while ensuring it fits within a larger, well-thought-out brand system.

  • How do we get started?

Simple! Just drop me a message here on Contra, and I’ll reach out to schedule a free discovery call to get things rolling 💛

  • We need a website. Can you create a website for us?

100% — I'm a partner of Framer; a no-code tool that I use to build and design websites that scale. Ask about this service in your inquiry!

What's included

  • Phase 1: Creative Direction

→ Creative Direction is about shaping and guiding the visual identity of your brand. This includes providing mood board inspirations that define your brand’s color palette, typography, design, texture, and overall visual style. The goal is to ensure every creative element aligns with your brand’s message and objectives—while creating a look and feel that truly resonates with your audience.

  • Phase 2: Logo Mark

→ Once your brand’s visual direction has been defined, the next step is to create a logo that brings it to life. I’ll begin by sketching several logo concepts—including primary, secondary, and icon variations—to explore potential directions. Together, we’ll refine them into a final logo that truly represents your brand identity and vision. The final package will include the logomark, wordmark, logo mockups, and color specifications (RGB and CMYK). Mockups will also be shared to ensure we’re aligned every step of the way.

  • Phase 3: Brand Guidelines

→ A brand style guide is a comprehensive document that outlines the visual and communication standards for a company’s brand. It includes the finalized logo, approved color palettes, typography, sizing specifications, and usage restrictions to ensure a consistent and professional presentation. Beyond visual identity, it also defines brand messaging, tone of voice, co-branding practices, and the brand story. The guide serves as a central resource for anyone creating branded materials, helping maintain cohesion across all marketing and communication channels. Additionally, it features real-world mockups—such as business cards, packaging, signage, and digital platforms—that demonstrate how the brand should be applied across various touchpoints.

  • Phase 4: Final Deliverables

→ All design assets will be delivered as digital files in formats suitable for both print and digital use. This includes scalable vector files (e.g., AI, EPS, SVG) and high-resolution raster files (e.g., PNG, JPG) for web and social media.

  • Phase 5: Revisions

→ Each deliverable is open to 2 rounds of revision, allowing for refinements based on feedback.

  • Phase 6: Goodbye Bonus Gift 🎁

→ Here’s a little something extra to help you launch your brand with confidence. This brand guideline sheet is a clear, visually engaging document that highlights the essential elements of your brand identity. It’s a quick reference tool for designers, marketers, and anyone involved in bringing your brand to life.

David is a joy to work with. He takes direction very well and sometimes is able to do a project with very little instruction. He’s hard working and cares about your satisfaction of the work. He designed my website and a few landing pages. I was very pleased with the final results. I usually have very little feedback
