We start with a conversation / briefing about what kind of illustrations are needed, we discuss what is the context, function, size, message, other specifications. I start the ideation and sketching based on those requirements. I show and discuss the sketches to the client and modify / finalise them based on the feedback. I will create the vector version of the illustrations, but if the client is not completely satisfied with this version, there is still room and time to iterate the composition / colours, etc, (however bigger changes at this stage are not recommended.)
