Finding the reasons for what and why needs to be done. The research phase covers a lot of discovery and helps educate further design decisions. Deliverables include primary and secondary research synthesizes, interview debriefs, affinity maps, and similar.
Definition
Synthesizing the found data helps create guidelines for the rest of the project. Deliverables in this stage include persona definition, empathy maps, and user flows.
Ideation
Ideation is essential. We discuss conceptual ideas, wireframes, and low and hi-fi designs.
Prototyping
Prototyping is the best way to show interactions in an intuitive form.
Testing
User testing is the pivotal moment. It helps find mistakes and improves the design.
