Process
My process varies depending, essentially, on the objective(s). But here´s how it usually goes:
-Research: extensive research of the topic(s) required by the client, including keyword research, always with the competition in mind.
-Outline: I use an outline that will logically place headings (H1, H2, etc.) to maintain coherence throughout the article.
-Writing: With the structure in place, I compose the different sections, making sure to incorporate keywords organically as well as ensure overall readability.
-Editing: I thoroughly proofread the entire article while verifing its useful and informative qualities. I also check word density and meta tags and make the necessary twiks to improve the SEO.
-Finalization and Delivery: Right before sending the draft to the client for reviewing, I make sure the formatting is correct.
