Process

Discovery Call: Initial consult to understand your vision, expectations, and specific novel requirements, like target audience, tone, plot ideas, themes, and tropes.
Proposal & Contract: I'll send a proposal outlining the scope of the project, with timelines, pricing, and deliverables. Once approved, a ghostwriting contract (including NDA) will be signed.
Outlining: I’ll create a comprehensive chapter outline and plot structure based on our discussions. This includes key events, character arcs, and emotional beats for each chapter. You'll review and provide feedback up to two rounds of revision. Once approved, the writing begins.
Writing & Real-Time Review: I'll submit milestone checkpoints at every 10k words reached, but you'll have access to the master document throughout the writing process. Here you can leave comments/feedback, and I'll address them as I go. Revision in motion saves everyone loads of time, and ensures a near-perfect novel by the time we reach the finish line.
Revisions & Editing: Unlimited revisions are included, along with a round of essential editing to snag any sticky errors that may have been previously overlooked. I also polish structure, tone, continuity, and character arcs.
Formatting: Once the final draft is approved, I'll create publish-ready files for all major platforms - epub, MOBI, AZW3 for digital, and pdf or docx for print.
Final Handover & Sign-off: I'll send through the final manuscript and all accompanying files. If requested, this package will include an optimized blurb/book description as well.

  • What sub-genre do you specialize in?

    My favorite romance sub-genres are contemporary, historical, dark romance, and paranormal/shifter. I am comfortable writing pretty much every trope under the sun (because in 16 years, that's exactly what I've done), but I have a soft spot for "Don't-you-scare-me-like-that-again", enemies-to-lovers, forbidden love, and age-gap romance *swoon.

  • Is ghostwriting legal?

    Yes! Many top authors make use of ghostwriters all the time. We enter into an NDA before any work begins. This protects you and the rights to your work, and it protects me as a "ghost" on your project.

  • How long does it take to write a novel?

    It depends on your desired total word count. My current rate is 15-20k words/week, and I comfortably finish a 60k-word novel in 22 days, with an additional 2 days for final edits and formatting of publish-ready files. Expedited timelines are available upon request.

  • Do you provide editing services?

    I do. A round of essential editing is included in every romance ghostwriting package. That's beyond the general proofing I provide as I'm working. My guarantee is an error-free, polished final draft.

  • I have a rough idea but nothing else. Can you still write a novel for me?

    I most certainly can! I've been at this long enough to have developed a knack for taking that rough idea and polishing it into an unputdownable romance. This is why all my projects are collaborations, not "jobs".
