PostgreSQL database, all live in one afternoon.
THE PROBLEM:
Crochet creators and handmade sellers lose orders
every day because they run their entire business
through Instagram DMs. No structure, no record,
no professional presence. Customers DM with vague
requests, creators lose track of orders, custom
timelines get missed, and potential buyers leave
because there is no clear way to order.
Cozy Creations had exactly this problem a creator
with real skill and real demand, running everything
through chaotic DM conversations.
WHAT WAS BUILT:
→ Full portfolio site with categorized product gallery
(Blankets / Bags / Amigurumi) with hover effects
and detailed product cards
→ Custom order form capturing: customer details,
product choice, customization requests, timeline,
and budget all stored in PostgreSQL database
→ Newsletter signup with its own database table
(newsletter_subscribers) to build a mailing list
→ Floating WhatsApp button on every page
links directly to creator's WhatsApp for
quick customer conversations
→ FAQ section answering the 8 most common DM
questions: shipping, materials, care, timelines
→ Featured items section on homepage highlighting
bestsellers reduces decision fatigue for buyers
→ Mobile-first design built for Instagram
followers browsing on their phones
→ Image error protection if any product image
fails, site shows a fallback texture automatically
